Youwill need to remove the driver’s side ceiling grab rail, the upholstered ceiling corner panels from the
rear and driver’s side, the cabinet top upholstery andbrackets, theHVAC duct, and the access cover inside
the cabinet. Once you have these components and the cab components removed, youwill have full access to
theHVAC unit itself.
RemoveUpholsteredPanels
Remove the headpad from the cabinet

The pad is held inplacewithVelcro, so just
pull it off
All of the upholsteredpanels are removed the same
way:
o
Use the crowfoot to remove the buttons
that cover the screws
o
Remove the screws
o
Pull the panel down and set it aside out of
harm’sway
o
Be sure to keep the screwswith theirDura-
snaps and flat washers
