Reinstall A/C-Heater Unit
TheA/C-Heater unit goes back in theway it came out.

Replace theO-rings on theA/C hoses
o
#6 (.375”) R134AO-ring
o
#8 (.625”) R134AO-ring
o
LubricatewithA/C compressor oil
•
After reconnecting theA/C hoses, re-wrap theA/C
fittings, expansion valve, andhose endswith
Prestige tape
o
Apply additional tape as required toprevent
condensation
•
The heater hosewith the shut-off valve goes on the
top fitting
o
Have someone go inside the cab andpull
the hose so that you can tell which iswhich
•
Once all hoses are fully connected, theA/C system canbe rechargedby certifiedpersonnel
o
Follow themanufacturer’s instructions
o
Charge to 3 pounds 11 ounces
