COMPONENTACCESSANDREMOVALPROCEDURE
CONSOLE
-Toaccess theback of the console or to remove it for engine service youneed to remove
the#10 truss headmachine screws from the sides of the console that are fastenedwithnutserts
to theengine cover. After the screws are removed you simplypull the consoleoff theengine
cover as it is now only beingheldwith velcroand a clipon the bottom. To removeengine cover
youmust first remove thepassenger seat andplace the console towards thedriver’s side, the
floor harness cover doesn’t have tobe removed to achieve this.

Reverse this procedure for reassembly taking special carenot to cross thread themounting
screws into thenutserts.

Toaccess all components and switches located in theM.C.C. area, remove the
screws that secure theaccess panel located in the left sideElectrical Control
Compartment (fig. 7)

Nowall switchwiring, backlightingandother electrical components, alongwith the
oxygen lines, outlets and connections areeasilyaccessed for inspectionand service.
