DOORLATCHADJUSTMENT

All door latches comewith serviceaccess ports locatedaboveandbelow the latch.

Theseports are covered by a red reflector that is easily removed out of theway by
removingone screwandgiving it a turn. (fig. 10)

Behind theaccess ports is theadjustment linkage that is used to adjust the rod
length going to the rotary latches that are located topandbottom of thedoor.

Theadjustment linkagehas a locknut that will prevent the linkage frommovingdue to
road vibration , etc. , these locknuts haveBlueLiquid Locktight #242applied to them
toassure that they remain inplace,
this shouldbe reapplied after each latch
adjustment.

HARNESSROUTING

The
mainharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors # 1,2,3&4, up the left sidewall and
is attached to the roof above themain cabinets and if necessary can beaccessed by
removing theupholstered valanceabove the cabinetry.

The
consoleharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors # 5,6,7&8, to the front left corner
of themodular boxwhere it will enter theChassis cab areaand onward to the
Console. This harness is coveredbyawire track toprevent any damage.

The
under chassisharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors #9&10 to the front left
corner of themodular boxwhere it will go through ahole to theunder chassis. From
here theharness is routed and tied inside the frameuntil it gets to theunderhood
where theharnesswireswill go to there specific locations in the front endandunder
dash.
