CONNECTIONS
•
All addedelectrical connectors and connections shouldprovideadequate current carrying
capability tomeet the circuit current requirements.

All wire splices shouldbeeither twisted, solderedand sealed, or crimpedusing theproper size
crimp connector tomatch thewires being joined.

All electrical connections exposed tohostile environments shouldbeproperly sealedwitheither
sealable crimp connectors or heat shrinkable tubing. Sealedbutt connectors areavailable from

TheABS vehicleSpeedSensor wiring consists of 18gauge twistedpair wires.When replacingor
extending theABSVehicleSpeedSensor circuit, theOEM specificationof 1FULLTWISTPER INCH
must bemaintainedas originally provided. Insure that thewires toABSVehicleSpeedSensor are
longenough toallow for suspension travel andavoidpinchedor brokenwires.
