OLDCHASSISPREPARATION
The following recommendations are based on the premise that there is an absence of established
rules concerning the customer’s requirements for the old chassis. Ensure that the following
comments donot contravene existing rules and regulations for thepreparationof old chassis'.
Make sure that all necessarycomponents havebeen stripedof theold chassis.
Reconnect theheater hose and fill the radiator.
Reconnect air conditioning lines.
Closeup thebackof the cab and ensure that this seal/cover iswatertight.
Tiedown fuel fillers.

PREPARATIONOFTHENEWCHASSIS
Compare thenew chassiswith theold for dimensional equivalence.
Make sure the locations of thebox to chassismountingbolts are consistentwith thenew chassis.
Remove any factory frame rails as these arenot required.
Extend the exhaust outlet as necessary.
Extend the frame as necessary.
Install cab tobodycove.
Install cabmarker lights if applicable.
Drill holes in cab for cab toboxmounting.
Install newunderhood / underchassiswiringas applicable.
Install auto throttle.
Remove thebuckets.
Install the console.
