To remove the console panel, locate and unscrew
the ten (10) screws as shown.
Use the supplied harness # H020248 with female
connector to make the modification.
Locate the
2 position connector
with the
green wire
and
the
light green wire
connected behind the gm climate
control module as shown.
Pull the connector to disconnect it.
Locate the
9 position connector
connected behind the
switchplex as shown.
Pull the connector to disconnect it.
Weld the
new black wire
with the
light green
wire.
Insulate the soldering with electrical tape.
(see drawing # 1)
Connect the new black wire in position 9 of the
switchplex connector.
