6.0 REMOUNT
Lower thebodyonto thenewchassis. Pleasewatch for cableor hose interference.
Check to ensure that the flat mounting plates attached to the underside of the floor frame are
centred over the factory chassis frame rails and that the bolt hole locations are consistent with
the factory chassis body puck locations. Also check that the frame rails are close to the end
of themodular bodyat the rear
The outside to outside dimension of the plates is 42 inches. Please also note the location of
the current body puckmounting locations. These holes are located 5", 29 1/4", 61 1/4", 120
1/2" and 135 1/8" from the front of the floor frame. If thenew chassis body puck locations are
not in the indicated positions, new 1 3/8" diameter holes will have to be drilled. Consult the
appropriatebodybuildersbookandor guidelines for further information.
Secure thebody tochassisconnectionsasper suggestedOEMguidelines.
Bolt thecabandedgeseal to the front of themodular body.
Reconnect theconversionharnessandassociatedelectrical.
Reconnect theair conditioningandheater hoses.
Reinstall anyheat shields that arenecessary.
Make the appropriate factory electrical connections such that the required exterior lighting is
activatedwith thechassis lights (for example, clearance lightsandbrake lights).
Reattach thegroundstrap(s).
Install anew fuel filler as required for thespecificsituation.
Reattach the rear bumper andmud flaps.
Use the attached INSPECTION FORMS as a guideline to completing the fine details of the
remount process.
