The following items are considerednormal service,maintenance and repair forwhich
CrestlineCoachLtd. is not liable for reimbursingBCAS.
1. Abuse, negligenceor unapproved alterationof original parts;
2. Damage from accidents;
3. Proven failureof a thirdparty to adhere to comprehensivelydetailed remount
instructions of theProponent(s) that result in any impairment is also exempt.
4. Component failures that occur as a result of negligence in the timely repair of aproblem
as soon as it is reported.
WarrantyCoverage
CrestlineCoachLtd. warrants the vehicle and all furnished equipment against parts
failure ormalfunction (including rust, corrosion or failure of paint) due to design and
construction.
The followingwarranty is provided, with unlimitedmileage, from the date onwhich the vehicle
is placed in service as an ambulance:
(1)
A ten (10) year repair and replacement warrantyof themodular ambulance body structure
and integral components, including access and compartment doors and hinges; for any
impairment related toworkmanship and / ormaterials originallyassembled by the
Contractor includingbut not limited to the replacement of the component as awhole or
anypart thereof;
(2)
A five (5) year repair and replacement warranty for any impairment related to
workmanship and / ormaterials of all other components originallyassembled by the
Contractor includingbut not limited to the replacement of the component aswhole or any
part thereof; including front console shell (excluding components), interior cabinets,
fender flares, checker platemud flaps, rear bumper, runningboards, rear stainless
threshold, assembled floor and upholstered cushions and pads (both excludingnormal
wear and tear), rear kit tree tube frame and shelves,main cabinet shelves, squad bench,
and ceilingpanel.
