RemountManual
As per the diagrams to follow, please note the location of the flat mounting plates. The outside to
outside dimension of the plates is 42 inches. Please also note the location of the current body puck
mounting locations. If the new chassis body puck locations are not in the indicated positions, new 1
3/8" diameter holes will have to be drilled. Consult the appropriate body builders book and or
guidelines for further information.
Lower thebodyonto thenew chassis. Pleasewatch for cableor hose interference.
Check to ensure that the flat mounting plates attached to the underside of the floor frame are centred
over the factorychassis frame rails and that thebolt hole locations areconsistentwith the factorychassis
body puck locations. Also check that the frame rails are close to the end of themodular body at the
rear.
Secure thebody to chassis connections as per suggestedO.E.M. guidelines.
Bolt thecabandedge seal to the front of themodular body.
Reconnect theconversionharness andassociatedelectrical.
Reconnect theair conditioningandheater hoses.
Reinstall anyheat shields that arenecessary.
Make the appropriate factory electrical connections such that the required exterior lighting is activated
with thechassis lights (for example, clearance lights andbrake lights).
Replace theground strap(s).
Install new fuel filler as requiredby the situation.
Reattach the rear bumper andmud flaps.
Use the attached INSPECTION FORM as a guideline to completing the fine details of the remount
process.
