OLDCHASSISPREPARATION
The following recommendations are based on the premise that there is an absence of established rules
concerning the customer’s requirements for the old chassis. Ensure that the following comments donot
contraveneexisting rules and regulations for thepreparationof oldchassis'.
Make sure that all necessary components havebeen stripedof theold chassis.
Reconnect theheater hoseand fill the radiator.
Reconnect air conditioning lines.
Closeup thebackof thecabandensure that this seal/cover iswatertight.
Tiedown fuel fillers.

PREPARATIONOFTHENEWCHASSIS
Compare thenewchassiswith theold for dimensional equivalence.
Make sure the locationsof thebox tochassismountingbolts areconsistentwith thenewchassis.
Removeany factory frame rails as thesearenot required.
Extend theexhaust outlet asnecessary.
Extend the frameasnecessary.
Install cab tobody cove.
Install cabmarker lights if applicable.
Drill holes incab for cab toboxmounting.
Install newunderhood / underchassiswiringas applicable.
Install auto throttle.
Remove thebuckets.
Install theconsole.
