Stair Chair Bracket and Squad Bench Bolster Modification
To All BC Ambulance Unit Chiefs
BC Ambulance Fleet Operations has found that the squad bench end bolster upholstery and the right
side patient door jam and seal are being damaged by the stair chair that is mounted on the right side
patient compartment door. Please follow these instructions for the repair procedures.
Procedure
Stair chair bracket modification (Refer to pictures).
Remove the stair chair from the right side patient door.
Remove the yellow plastic mat at the bottom of the stair chair bracket and
discard
.
Wipe clean the inside bottom of the Stair Chair bracket.
Peal the tape adhesive cover from the supplied plastic block and stick the block to the right inside
end of the bracket.
Re-install stair chair.
