ISSUE:
The Crestline dual stretcher remount ambulances and ambulances produced prior to unit
62900 were not up fitted with the cargo net anchor plates
ACTION:
Install the cargo net anchor plates
SERVICE PROCDURE:
Labour Time: 1.0 hr
1) Use the supplied anchor plate as a
template to mark holes.
2) Before you drill, check the back side
of the panel for accessibility to install
the mounting nuts and washers. If
needed, move the plate to allow for
the nuts and washers to be installed.
3) Drill the holes using the appropriate
sized drill bit (
be careful not to drill
into wiring, hoses, fire extinguisher,
battery etc…
) and install the
mounting bolts, washers and nuts.
Note: acorn nuts should be used on the
bulkhead (figure 1) and the seat pedestal
(figure 2) to prevent gear from catching
the exposed threads.
