SPECIALTY PARTS ORDERS
All non-warranty specialty parts must be ordered from Fleet Operations. A Fleet
Inspector will collect the parts requests for the day and issue the part supplier(s) with a
purchase authorisation number to supply and ship the parts.
SPECIALTY PART ORDERS
The majority of ambulance specialty parts are ordered through Fleet Operations via
Demers West or Crestline Coach Ltd. in Saskatoon SK. Most Demers parts are stocked
and shipped from a warehouse in Richmond B.C. Crestline parts are stocked and
shipped out of Saskatoon. Parts requests made to Fleet Operations prior to noon will be
shipped out the same business day, provided inventory is available. Parts requests
received after noon will ship the next business day.
Parts are shipped via Purolator courier with the exception of:

Areas not serviced by Purolator or its affiliates
o
Where parts have to be brought in from other vendors
Shipments leave Demers/Crestline after 3:30 PM daily (Monday through Friday) via
Purolator.
Delivery service expectations are:
o
Lower Mainland, within 24 hours
o
Vancouver Island, Southern BC Interior, within 36 hours of shipping
o
Northern BC, within 48 hours of shipping
LOCALLY PROCURED PARTS
To reduce ambulance downtime some specialty parts (for non-warranty repairs) may be
procured locally by service centres:
