DOORLATCHADJUSTMENT

All door latches comewith service access ports located above and below the latch.

Theseports are coveredby a red reflector that is easily removedout of theway by
removing one screw and giving it a turn. (fig. 10)

Behind theaccess ports is theadjustment linkage that is used toadjust the rod
lengthgoing to the rotary latches that are located topandbottomof thedoor.

Theadjustment linkagehas a locknut that will prevent the linkage frommovingdue to
road vibration , etc. , these locknuts haveBlueLiquidLocktight #242applied to them
toassure that they remain inplace,
thisshouldbe reappliedafter each latch
adjustment.

HARNESSROUTING

The
mainharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors #1,2,3&4, up the left sidewall and
is attached to the roof above themain cabinets and if necessary canbeaccessedby
removing theupholstered valanceabove the cabinetry.

The
consoleharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors #5,6,7&8, to the front left corner
of themodular boxwhere it will enter theChassis cabareaandonward to the
Console. This harness is covered by awire track to prevent any damage.

The
under chassisharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors #9&10 to the front left
corner of themodular boxwhere it will go throughahole to the under chassis. From
here theharness is routedand tied inside the frameuntil it gets to theunderhood
where theharnesswireswill go to there specific locations in the front endandunder
dash.
