Service andWarranty
The following items are considered normal service, maintenance and repair for which
CrestlineCoachLtd. is not liable for reimbursingBCAS.
1.
Abuse, negligence or unapproved alterationof original parts;
2.
Damage from accidents;
3.
Proven failure of a thirdparty to adhere to comprehensivelydetailed remount
instructions of theProponent(s) that result in any impairment is also exempt.
4.
Component failures that occur as a result of negligence in the timely repair of a
problem as soon as it is reported.
WarrantyCoverage
CrestlineCoachLtd.warrants thevehicleandall furnishedequipment against parts failure
ormalfunction (including rust, corrosionor failure of paint) due todesign and construction.
The followingwarranty isprovided,withunlimitedmileage, from thedateonwhich thevehicle is
placed in service as an ambulance:
(1)
A ten (10) year repair and replacementwarrantyof themodular ambulancebody structure
and integral components, including access and compartment doors andhinges; for any
impairment related toworkmanship and / ormaterials originally assembledby the
Contractor includingbut not limited to the replacement of the component as awhole or
anypart thereof;
(2)
A five (5) year repair and replacementwarranty for any impairment related to
workmanship and / ormaterials of all other components originally assembled by the
Contractor includingbut not limited to the replacement of the component aswhole or any
part thereof; including front console shell (excluding components), interior cabinets,
fender flares, checker platemud flaps, rear bumper, runningboards, rear stainless
threshold, assembled floor andupholstered cushions andpads (both excluding normal
wear and tear), rear kit tree tube frame and shelves,main cabinet shelves, squadbench,
and ceiling panel.
