DOORLATCHADJUSTMENT
-
All door latches comewith service access ports located above and below the latch.
-
These ports are covered by a red reflector that is easily removed out of theway by
removing one screw and giving it a turn. (fig. 10)

Behind the access ports is the adjustment linkage that is used to adjust the rod
length going to the rotary latches that are located top and bottom of the door.

The adjustment linkage has a locknut that will prevent the linkage frommoving due to
road vibration , etc. , these locknuts have Blue Liquid Locktight # 242 applied to them
to assure that they remain in place,
this should be reapplied after each latch
adjustment.

HARNESSROUTING

The
main harness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors # 1,2,3&4, up the left sidewall and
is attached to the roof above themain cabinets and if necessary can be accessed by
removing the upholstered valance above the cabinetry.

The
consoleharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors # 5,6,7&8, to the front left corner
of themodular box where it will enter theChassis cab area and onward to the
Console. This harness is covered by awire track to prevent any damage.

The
under chassisharness
runs fromE.C.C. connectors # 9&10 to the front left
corner of themodular box where it will go through a hole to the under chassis. From
here the harness is routed and tied inside the frame until it gets to the underhood
where the harness wires will go to there specific locations in the front end and under
dash.
