ISSUE:
Load Limit Rating on patient compartment pull-out step has been increased.
The right side patient compartment pull-out step’s load limit was reviewed and has been
increased from a maximum load of 250 lb to 400 lb. The load limit decal needs to be
changed to reflect the new rating.
ACTION: Replace With Supplied Upgraded Decal – Maximum Load 400 lb
LABOUR TIME: .1 hr
SERVICE PROCDURE:
1) Confirm the decal on the right side patient compartment pull-out step reads
“Maximum Load 250 lb.”
2) Remove this decal using an appropriate scraper – be careful not to damage the
paint on the step assembly.
3) Clean the surface of the step and apply the upgraded decal in the same position
as the old decal.
Replace decal that reads Maximum Load 250 lb with upgraded decal reading Maximum Load 400 lb.
