Rear Entry Door Grab Handle Installation February 2019 page 2 of 2 AMBULANCE TYPE: Demers and Crestline UNITS AFFECTED: All In-Service Ambulances BC Ambulance Service, Fleet Operations 1 877 652-7465 Block C, 2261 Keating X Road Fax: 250 952-0275 SERVICE PROCEDURE: • Measure 34 inches from the floor of the ambulance up the cabinet post at the left rear door as shown in the picture. • Place the lower edge of the supplied handle on the 34-inch mark. • Mark the bolt hole locations. • Centre punch, then drill a pilot hole with an 1/8 drill bit. • Drill a 13/64 hole for the ¼ X 20 NC tap size. • Lubricate the tap and tap the holes. • Install the handle with the supplied bolts and washers. • Install the bolt hole covers. 34 Inches 34” from floor
