completedunit with the results recordedonan inspection sheet filedwith the vehicle's records.
Documentation should include clear acceptanceand rejection criteria.
The completed vehicle sign-off should include (but is not limited to) the following:
Parkingbrake.
Engine cooling.
Engineand transmissionperformance, includingdownshift and "PRNDL" indexing.
High idle speed settingand full throttlepedal travel.
Heater andair conditioning functionand leak test.
Fuel system, including fuel fill
Bodywater leaks.
Brakingperformance.
Ride, handling, and steeringevaluations.
Vehicle vibrationandnoise.
Electrical functions.
Exhaust shieldingand leaks.
Paint code label.
Air conditioning charge capacity label (including refrigerant and compressor lubricatingoil).
E-Series engine cover removal access for service.
All Lights
Windshieldwipers
Appropriate tire inflation label is installed.
All tirepressures checkedand set per label.
